Hello Everyone! I have decided to hold a raffle of prizes along with my fundraiser series. Tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5. Anyone can purchase them and need not be present to win. The drawing for such prizes will be held after thr triples event at Mcnaughton on May 22nd. I haven't come up with alot yet, but so far I have a very cool pro boss signed by both Val and Avery Jenkins in the mix and working on a bunch of other cool prizes. Hope to see many of you come out to show your support for the GPO by playing at least one of the events.

Hello again, just an update, Nancy Wilken will have the raffle tickets available at most of the area leagues for you to purchase. The prize list is growing and I hope to see many of you turn out for the fundraisers! Remember, you do not have to be present to win the prizes, just make sure your name is clearly written on your tickets along with valid phone number to reach you if you do win. Thanks!

The First Fundraiser to help out for this Years GPO is this SAturday at PJ Irving in Bloomington. Sign in from 12-12:45 and tee off at 1 o'clock. This one is singles play on a mixed layout, even though the weather looks a little shaky, I am hoping most will be able to make it. We will not wimp out because of bad weather, so bring your umbrellas and rainwear! See ya Sat!

Thanks for your nice comments Stu! Yes we had a total of 30 teams come out yesterday :o and we raised alot of money, that is all I am going to say for now until the end of my triples event in 2 weeks on Sat May 22nd at Mcnaughton. But rest assured we are doing very well and I am very thankful to all those who showed up for the doubles, I hope that the final event is as successful. Brian says he'll never walk again from carrying your big butt around all day! LOL ,Just kidding he had fun!

The last event in this series is coming up next Sat, May 22nd TRIPLES at Mcnaughton!!! For the am pool, we will be using short tees, for the open players we will be using a mix of some of the new concrete pads for the blues and some gold tees. should be interesting... same time 12-12:45 sign in, tee off at 1. If no one hits an ace, this is where the ace fund will be thrown off for a 50/50 ctp at the end, we will also be drawing for our raffle prizes at this time, need not be present to win.
As always, bring your own partners, $10 per player, optional $5 50/50 ctp, $2 ace, and $2 mulligans for purchase available. We need the 30 teams to show up that we had at morton to meet goal, lets make it happen. See ya next Sat!
